Adjust inventory quantities and costs

1. Open Inventory Adjustments

Open the Store menu and choose Inventory Adjustments.

2. Find your inventory

Search by title, UPC, SKU or certificate number. The page shows 100 matching items at a time. Use Next items to reach the rest.

3. Name your reconciliation and enter corrections

Enter an Adjustment title, such as March reconciliation. The title is saved with every change in that batch.

Quantity and average unit cost appear together on each item row. Change either or both, choose a reason and add one note. Enter the complete new count and the new cost per unit (What I Paid). Leave a field unchanged or blank to keep its value. Enter 0 for a known zero cost.

You can change several rows before saving. Counts must cover quantities already reserved for buyers. Historical purchase receipts stay unchanged.

4. Save and review the history

Choose Save Adjustments. Both changes save together as one adjustment for each item. Recent Adjustments shows the title, old and new quantity and cost, reason, note, date and person making the change. Use Search history to find a title such as March reconciliation. The site attempts to send a notification to your store contact email, or your account email if no store contact is set. If sending fails, a warning says the adjustment was saved but the email was not sent; there is no automatic retry. Use Older adjustments to see earlier history.

Review any error messages: if either change in a row cannot be saved, neither change in that row is saved. If the stock count or unit cost changed while the page was open, review the latest value before trying again.
