The Hobby Network Β· Member Guide

Meet the members behind the cards

The Member Directory is where you can search the community by screen name, open a member's public profile, and see how they collect β€” while you stay in full control of your own visibility.

πŸ”Ž Search by screen name πŸ‘€ Public member profiles πŸ™ˆ Hide yourself anytime
Step 1 Β· Open to everyone

Browse the directory

Head to the Member Directory to see fellow collectors on the platform. Use the Search by screen name… box to find someone specific, or page through the cards. A recently updated badge marks members who just refreshed their display name.

1

Search or page through members

Type a screen name to jump straight to a member, or browse the grid. Each card shows a member's public name and @handle β€” the ones with a badge changed their display name in the last 30 days.

The directory is public. Anyone can browse it β€” no account needed. Only members who are eligible and set to public appear in the list.

Step 2

Open a member's profile

Click any member card to open their public profile. You'll see their public name and @handle, their Accepted Payment Options, any Verified Platform Accounts, and a button to View Collection.

1

See how a member collects

Accepted Payment Options shows how they like to transact, and Verified Platform Accounts (like eBay) show where they've confirmed their identity elsewhere. Tap View Collection to see their cards β€” it reads View Collection (Private) if they keep it closed.

Signed in? If you'd rather not interact with someone, you can block a member right from their profile.

Step 3

Control your own visibility

You're listed automatically once your profile is public β€” but it's entirely your call. Tick Hide my profile from the member directory on your Edit Profile Details form (or the matching toggle on your dashboard) and you'll be removed from the list.

1

Hide yourself whenever you like

Open Edit Profile Details, tick Hide my profile from the member directory, and save. You stay a full member β€” you just won't show up in the directory or in a screen-name search. Untick it anytime to reappear.

When on, you're removed from the directory and from screen-name search.

It's reversible. Hiding your profile changes nothing else about your account β€” buying, selling, and messaging all work the same. Turn it back on whenever you want to be found again.
