This eBayer account happened to reach out to me just after another eBay account jatay545 (https://www.ebay.com/usr/jatay545) had submitted an offer that I accepted only to try and back out if I did not lower the price. This is something everyone should be trained to look for:

1. Buyer makes an offer that you accept and then buyer doesn't pay. Instead buyer says that he is thinking twice about it and wants a lower price. Then, when you call the buyer out and tell him he is full of shit, the buyer requests to cancel the order. (this is where the second guy comes in)
2. The second guy comes in and says "hey I have a few of these and I saw yours sold..do you mind if I ask what it sold for?"....this is the trick. They are waiting for you to say "man, the buyer actually cancelled the order"...so that they can then reply back "sorry to hear that...if you want to sell it, I am happy to buy it ...I can give you $x.xx" Their offer will be around the price that the first buyer asked you to lower your price to.

The idea is that they work together. The first account has zero feedback, so a canceled order means nothing... while the second account has legitimate feedback, so they look like a good eBayer. This convinces the seller that the second buyer is the "knight in shining armor" who will save the day by getting money into the seller's pocket. Nonsense!

In this case, the buyer said he had a couple of these cards...which I knew was not true... so I said, "ok show me," and he sent nothing. I let him know that I knew what he and the other guys were up to. He said I was mistaken...and then I said..ok..then show me the two cards you have (this is a pop 1 for this grade by the way)

He never showed the cards. Beware of these guys...and other accounts like them.
